MSTP MSTP Retreat 2019

Check-in:
Primary check-in will be Friday from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. Students are expected to check-in during this time. Those of you who have indicated you will be arriving before 8:00PM, dinner will begin promptly at 6:30PM untill 8:00PM. Please arrive promptly. If you are late, there is no guarantee you will receive a meal. Regardless of your arrival time, please check in to the hotel at the main lodge front desk. After that, please check in at the conference registration desk (signage to the desk will be provided).
Travel:
If driving, traffic from UCI to Lake Arrowhead can be quite severe. Please plan your trip ahead of time to ensure you arrive on time. If leaving from the UCI campus, we recommend being on the road by 1:30PM. Lake arrowhead usually provides ample parking. Please see the attached map for location of parking stalls.

MSTP

The purpose of the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) is to train individuals who can understand and contribute to advances in research, and can also apply those advances to the field of medical care. Since our first students entered the program in 1980, the UCI Medical Scientist Training Program has grown and flourished. Today, our students and associated faculty pursue research in fields such as stem cell biology, cancer biochemistry, human brain mapping, among others.
