Dr. Caplan’s work (bio here) focuses on developing and refining the technology to isolate and control the differentiation of the mesenchymal stem cell. His distinguished body of work is a fantastic example of translational research, and hearing his experiences and perspectives may prove valuable to us as aspiring physician scientists
